John McGinn has confessed his love for Celtic and explained how he won’t shut up about the Hoops at Villa Park.
Ex-Hibs man and Celts target McGinn missed out on a move to his boyhood heroes last season before he sealed a switch to the English Championship with Aston Villa.
Half-a-season later and the midfielder is an English Premier League star being touted as a £50million player.
John McGinn says EPL is massive step-up despite scoring Aston Villa’s first goal of new season
It’s no surprise, then, that McGinn doesn’t regret his move down south.
But he can’t help but yap his pals’ ears off about Celtic non-stop.
And he refused to rule out a move to Parkhead in the future.
Speaking to talkSPORT, 24-year-old McGinn said: “I’m still a massive Celtic supporter. I was watching the game at the weekend.
“I always will be. That will never leave you.
“I’ve got to focus on doing the best I can for Aston Villa and whatever comes up in the future we’ll take it from there.
“I’m still a Celtic supporter. The boys here know I harp on about it all the time but I’m really focused on Villa and doing well for them.”

McGinn caught up with Arsenal’s newest marquee signing and former Celtic defender Kieran Tierney last weekend.
And he believes the Gunners have won a watch with his Scotland teammate – because he has it all.
McGinn added: “I spoke to him at the weekend to wish him all the best.
“He’s a top player and I’m sure the Arsenal fans and English football will see that soon.
“I think he’s got everything really. When he gets back fit they’ll realise he’ll run through a brick wall for Arsenal.
“He’s a really humble guy and he’ll want to improve all the time.”
