Aston Villa will make a £25million bid to sign on-loan striker Tammy Abraham from Chelsea if they earn promotion to the Premier League, according to reports.
Abraham has starred in the Championship for Villa this season, and scored his 26th goal of the campaign in their play-off first-leg victory over West Brom on Saturday.
According to The Telegraph, bringing in Abraham permanently will be Villa’s priority if they can end their three-year absence from the top flight.
One-cap England international Abraham, 21, came through the academy at Chelsea and has so far made two Premier League appearances for the Blues.
It is on loan in the Championship where he has shone however, scoring 23 goals in 41 league games for Bristol City in 2016-17 before his strike-laden season for Villa this campaign.
He also went on loan to Swansea in 2017-18, but struggled in the Premier League with five goals in 31 matches as the Welsh side were relegated.
