CRISTIANO RONALDO has revealed what he misses about Madrid after his move to Juventus.
The Portuguese star is thriving in Italy as Juventus edge closer to winning the Scudetto once again.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo’s former side Real Madrid are struggling at present after crashing out the Champions League, Copa del Rey and the La Liga title race in recent weeks.
The attacker left the Spanish capital in acrimonious circumstances at the start of the season.
But Ronaldo has revealed he misses his aspects of his former life, notably the people of Madrid who he no longer sees.
“I miss the people of Madrid,” he told ABC.
“Madrid really was a huge part of my life, I am thankful for everything.
“Health? I train hard and eat well, you have to take care of your body.”
Ronaldo has hit the ground running in Turin after his summer switch.
And the 34-year-old is happy with how his season is going thus far.
“We are having a great season according to me.
“We are in first place in the Italian Serie A standings as we have a big lead on second placed Napoli and we won the Super Cup against AC Milan.
“We are now clearly focused on the Champions league.
“Atletico Madrid? Well I think that we have a good team and we are confident in our abilities.
“We will have to have a special night here in Turin.
“We have to think positive ahead of this game and believe in our chances.
“It surely is possible but we will need the help of our fans.
“Everyone will have to give it their all this coming week.
“Comeback? Yes, get ready for a comeback.”
Juventus are staring a Champions League exit in the face after losing 2-0 to Atletico Madrid last month.
The return leg takes place at the Allianz Stadium this week.
